Route - Day 3

Breakfast. Departure from Trinidad passing from Valle de Los Ingenios (valley of the mills), a silent sentinel of a past, characterized by the boom of sugar factories in Trinidad, where the phenomenon of slavery linked to the Spanish colonization in Cuba is present everywhere in its culture and traditions. The ruins of Manacas plantations, sugar mills and old colonial farms are silent witnesses of past slavery, the tower was built in 1816, is characterized by an eclectic architecture, the goal of its construction was to watch over the work of the slaves in the plantations. Three tower bells, each with a different sound, signal the beginning and end of the work, the days of rest, the escape of a slave, when the bells were ringing together signaling an invasion by pirates.

Continue to Santa Clara, the city scene of the most revolutionary deeds that currently houses the mausoleum with the remains of the revolutionary guerrilla Ernesto Che Guevara (optional entry fee). Santa Clara was founded July 15, 1689, is a city that reflects in every corner the history of the figure of Che and preserves the memory of its revolutionary action, is a city in constant growth with interesting social and cultural traditions that looks at the development economic and tourist, its "cayos" in fact have recently opened and developed thanks to tourism with the construction of comfortable hotels that are located a few steps from the beautiful white sand beaches of Cayo Santa Maria ideal for rest and vacation.
